HASTE Calls It Quits

January 9, 2007

Birmingham, Alabama's HASTE, which was previously signed to Century Media Records, has issued the following update:

"After an extended hiatus (of about a year and a half) we have decided to call it quits as HASTE. This has been one of the most amazing experiences of our lives but we have all come to the point where it is time to move on. A simple thank you does not express the gratitude we feel for everyone who has supported us over the years. We can't possibly list everyone by name who has been important to us as a band, but you know who you are. I promise that we very much appreciate everything that you have done for us.

"HASTE has been a huge part of all of our lives and we are all very sad to see it go, but it is time have some closure to this part of our lives. We have a couple songs (plus the back in black cover) that we recorded right before we went on hiatus that we will be posting [on our MySpace page] in the next couple of days. Thanks again and maybe we'll run into you kids again soon."

HASTE's third full-length release, "The Mercury Lift", came out in 2003.
